Acupuncture is an energetic, powerful medical practice used for over 5000 years to effectively restore and maintain health and vitality.
Whether you are experiencing challenges with physical pain, dis-ease or emotional stress, Chinese medicine sees these as blockages of the flow of our vital energy (Qi) through the acupuncture channels (meridians) in our body. Understanding the principals of Yin & Yang, as well as the 5 Elements, your acupuncturist works to release blockages and stimulate your body’s innate ability to self- regulate and heal so that you can move on to be the best person you can.
Acupuncture is successful in treating: addictions . allergies . cardiovascular problems . digestive difficulties . headaches . pain . psycho-emotional discomfort . reproductive challenges . respiratory conditions . sleep difficulty . stress . and weight management, among others.
Our experience confirms that acute issues benefit from more frequent acupuncture treatments over a shorter period of time, while chronic issues benefit from less frequent acupuncture treatments over a longer period of time.

Jamie Wick, M.Ac, L.Ac. is a board-certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM, and a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Master’s in Acupuncture. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine. Jamie’s interest in acupuncture began many years ago when she first learned that there were other healing modalities available to help people. She discovered acupuncture and became fascinated with the beauty and poetry of this medicine.
Jamie has traveled and lived in diverse places throughout the world, and through her travels, she has observed and internalized the deep connection to nature held by many cultures. She believes that healing can come when we learn to listen to our bodies and flow with the movements of life. She loves seeing people come alive, learn more about themselves, gain a new awareness and grow through acupuncture.
Jamie has studied medicine in different contexts for many years; she has also had experience with traditional Mexican medicine. Before becoming an acupuncturist she lived in Mexico and worked in human rights. She loved this work, and she also realized that traditional medicine, like Chinese medicine, could offer a greater service to humanity. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. While Jamie treats people for a wide variety of conditions, she has a special interest in pregnancy, childbirth and pediatrics and has taken advanced courses on these topics.
Jamie is a mom to a three year old little one.
